AI music generators you can use free October 2026

Downloads, vocals and who owns the song, read on the pages of 16 AI music tools. Many free plans let you make a song but not keep it.
Checked by hand on 5 October 2026, on each company’s own pages. All 61 quotes re-checked just now and still there.

The short answer
If you read nothing else, read this.
- Free songs you can download: ElevenMusic gives 5 tracks and 5 lossless downloads a day. Google Flow Music (once Riffusion) lets free users download MP3, WAV, M4A and stems. Gemini saves songs as MP3 or as a video.
- Most songs a day, but no download: Suno makes 10 songs a day, Mureka up to 4. Suno's free plan has no monthly downloads, and Mureka keeps downloads for subscribers.
- Udio lets nobody download: since its deal with Universal Music, songs on every plan can only be played and shared by link.
- A few downloads a month: Mubert 5 MP3s, AIVA 3 (MP3 and MIDI), Soundful 1 MP3. All three want credit and allow personal use only.
- Free for business: ElevenMusic, if you credit it (streaming services need Pro), and Stable Audio, which gives 50 credits once for music without singing. Most other free plans are for personal use only.
- Your own voice is mostly paid: Suno puts it on Pro, Mureka on Premier. Soundverse says its 1,000 free tokens at sign-up can clone voices.
- No sign-up: none of the 16 says you can make music without an account. Google Flow Music and Gemini need a Google account, and you must be 18 or older.
I read the pages of 16 music tools. Making a song is free. Keeping it often is not.

A separate app from ElevenLabs, on the web and on iPhone. Songs you make from your own prompt can be used for business with a "Made with ElevenMusic" credit, but Spotify, Apple Music and other streaming services need Pro. Downloads are blocked on tracks that reference other artists' songs, and remixes of other people's music never leave the app.

Short tracks are about 1 minute. A full song of 2 to 3 minutes needs the Pro model, and Google does not say how often free users get it. Limits can drop when many people use it. Every track has Google's invisible SynthID watermark.

Free tracks play with an audio watermark, which Mubert says goes away when you download. You must credit Mubert, with a link and #mubert. No plan allows Spotify or Apple Music, and the Creator plan is still not for business: that starts at $32.49 a month billed yearly, $39 monthly.

Instrumental tracks and loops. Soundful's pages disagree: its FAQ still says 10 downloads a month and allows free tracks on TikTok and YouTube, but the plan card says 1, and its licence page says free tracks are not for social media videos. We follow the plan card. Its prices are not in the page text, so they are not here.

“1 MP3 download/month”
“Under the Standard plan, tracks can not be used for commercial use.”

Since 3 September 2026 the free plan has no monthly downloads. Accounts made before then keep up to 7 trial downloads in total; newer accounts only "may occasionally" get one, as an MP3. You can still share free songs by their Suno link. Singing with your own voice needs Pro.
In their own words(4, checked 5 Oct)
“The Free plan offers 50 credits that replenish daily. This is enough to make 10 songs per day!”
“No monthly song downloads”
“Free users who join on or after September 3, 2026 may occasionally receive trial downloads, and will also have the ability to purchase downloads. Trial downloads are not eligible for commercial use.”
“If you are using the free version of Suno (our Basic tier), we retain ownership of the songs you generate, but you are allowed to use those songs for non-commercial purposes”

A 130-second song costs 2 credits, and free accounts can make three of them a day at most. If you do not cancel the trial, you pay for a full year, unless you chose monthly before you started.
In their own words(4, checked 5 Oct)
“You have an allotment of 10 daily credits.”
“Note that downloading of audio, video, and stems has been disabled”

“Yes! With a Creator or Pro membership, you can download songs with full commercial rights.”
“Boomy Corporation owns and manages the copyright to songs created on the platform by default”

Music and sound effects, no singing. Stability does not say how many tracks 50 credits make. It says it puts no cap on downloads, but not whether that covers free accounts. Companies earning over $1 million a year need an Enterprise licence. Its open models can also run free on your own computer.
In their own words(4, checked 5 Oct)
“Every new account receives 50 free credits upon signup to test out the platform.”
“Stable Audio 3.0 does not generate vocals or lyrics.”

About 5 songs a day, by our math. Free songs are public and kept for 7 days. Brev's page says MP3 is for all plans, but greys out MP3 Download on the free card, so free downloads are not clear.

A minute of music costs 60 tokens, so 1,000 tokens make about 16 minutes, by our math. Its help center still says 100 free tokens. Soundverse does not say if free songs can be downloaded, and its prices did not show for us.
In their own words(3, checked 5 Oct)
“1,000 free tokens upon signup to create songs, clone voices, and split stems.”
“1 minute = 60 tokens”
“In Free Trial, you can use Soundverse for Non Commercial usage. You can’t monetise your creations.”
- Free
- Daily tracks, 30 seconds max
- Commercial use
- No, paid plans only
Free downloads are not clear: Loudly's licence keeps downloading for paid plans, while its FAQ speaks of higher download limits on paid plans. Even on paid plans, Loudly keeps the copyright and gives you a licence. Its prices did not load for us.
In their own words(3, checked 5 Oct)
“The Free plan is an opportunity for you to try 90% of the features available across Loudly and comes with a generous daily allowance of usages such as number of track generations.”
“Loudly imposes a 30 second limit on free tracks generated to avoid exploitation”

Questions
What is the best free AI music generator?
For songs you can keep, ElevenMusic: 5 tracks and 5 lossless downloads a day, and business use if you credit it. For the most songs, Suno: 10 a day, but no free monthly downloads and personal use only. Google Flow Music and Gemini make free songs with vocals that you can download.
Which free AI music generator makes songs with vocals?
Suno, Udio, ElevenMusic, Eleven Music in ElevenLabs, Google Flow Music, Gemini and Soundverse make songs with singing on free. Stable Audio says it makes no vocals or lyrics, and Mubert's tracks have short vocal samples at most.
Which free AI music generator lets me download MP3?
Gemini (MP3, or MP4 video), Google Flow Music (MP3, WAV, M4A and stems), Mubert (5 MP3s a month), AIVA (3 MP3 or MIDI downloads a month) and Soundful (1 MP3 a month). ElevenMusic gives 5 lossless downloads a day. Suno's free plan has no monthly downloads, Udio has none at all, and Mureka, Soundraw and Boomy keep downloads for paid plans.
Is there a free AI music generator with no sign-up?
None of the 16 we checked says so. Suno, Udio, ElevenMusic, Stable Audio, Mureka, AIVA, Boomy and Soundverse need a free account. Google Flow Music and Gemini need a Google account, and you must be 18 or older. The others do not say.
Can I make a free AI song from my own lyrics, or with my own voice?
Lyrics, yes: on Suno you can use lyrics you wrote, and Suno says they stay yours on any plan, free included. The song itself, on free, belongs to Suno. Your own voice is mostly paid: Suno puts it on Pro and Mureka on Premier. Soundverse says its 1,000 free tokens at sign-up can clone voices.
Can I earn money from free AI music, on YouTube or Spotify?
Stable Audio says yes, even on monetized videos and streaming releases. ElevenMusic allows business use with a "Made with ElevenMusic" credit, but streaming services need Pro. On free, Suno, Udio, Eleven Music in ElevenLabs, Mureka, AIVA, Mubert, Soundful, Boomy, Loudly, Brev and Soundverse are for personal use only. Google does not say for Flow Music or Gemini.
How we checked
Every fact here comes from the company’s own page, with the sentence it is in. The facts checked for this guide show the day we read them. The tables come from our catalogue, which re-reads each price page on its own. When a page does not say something, we write that, and we never guess. How we check
